Originally
from Youngstown, Ohio, Michelle Jaminet has been a South Florida resident
for more than 20 years.
After
attending Ohio University where she was a Fine Arts major specializing in
Graphic Design, Michelle joined the creative department at Group Three
Advertising in Fort Lauderdale. Shortly thereafter she
"took to the friendly skies" as a flight attendant.
Following her world traveling, Michelle formed Event Marketing Group,
Inc., an event management company specializing in marketing and promoting
sporting events, more specifically, golf.
After
producing and promoting numerous celebrity and charity golf events,
Michelle went to work exclusively for the "International Ambassador of
Golf" Gary Player where she was the Executive Director of the Gary Player
Foundation for three years.
In
2001 Michelle returned to event management consulting and public
relations. It was in 2002 that Michelle adopted her cocker spaniel,
Clicquot, who became the inspiration for her book.
And,
the rest as they say "is history!"
Michelle
and Clicquot happily reside in Palm Beach, Florida.
A Team Effort
Michelle
recognizes she could not have successfully done this alone, and, therefore,
enlisted friends and family to help finance the project, design the book,
edit the book, and more importantly, for moral support! She would
like to thank the following people, not only for the friendship and
professional input, but their support during this journey:
Kathleen Anderson, Ph. D.
David Athey
Steve Berrard
Cliff Brush, Lexus of Palm Beach
Hugh Cooper. CoreVision Strategies
